CUSTOM EMAIL TEMPLATES

To create a custom email template, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Services Manager -> Email Templates.

Advanced Email Composer

The advanced email composer is a comprehensive and intuitive layout, and is accessible from the Connect Utility Tray. It allows users to view and create custom email instances and send emails via the Connect platform.

The email composer can manage the variables being used in the instance. The output of the composer will be provided as HTML to Connect that will be passed to the SES API to send the email to the recipient(s).

The Advanced Email Composer is divided into the following frames:

NAVIGATION PANEL

This panel enables users to create, view, and save the template. It also allows users to view the email in Mobile and Desktop modes.

LAYOUTS

This mode enables users to design a template by a simple drag and drop feature from the available layouts. It facilitates to edit images and content with the help of an in-built editor.

STYLES

This mode enables users to customize and format the template cards used in the workspace area.
Following formatting instructions are available in this mode:

Border width: Defines the width of the border.
Border color: Defines border color in RGB format.
Border style: Defines border style.

Font StyleFollowing options are available:
Font: Lists available fonts.

Line height: Increase or decrease the height of the template card selected.

Background repeat: Used to repeat the background along the x-axis or y-axis.
Background position: Alignment position of the background.
Background Attachment: Defines whether the attachment should be fixed or scroll.

Position: Static, Relative, Absolute, or Fixed.

SOURCE MODE

In this mode, user can enhance or modify the HTML code that may have come from an external party. It helps user customize the templates that cannot be done in graphical mode. All the edits in the source mode can be previewed, cleared, viewed or saved.

WORKSPACE AREA

This is a work area to design static, personalized, and conditional email templates.
